Dutch-owned company group AKZO NOBEL will move its Budapest headquarters to CPI Hungary's Gateway Office Park, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
AKZO NOBEL's new office will be located in the office park's Tower 1 and will offer a panoramic view. Located between Árpád Bridge and Göncz Árpád Városközpont, the building is easily accessible both by car and public transport. The company will complete its move to the Gateway Office Park in spring 2021.
According to CPI Hungary senior leasing manager András Bodahelyi, the deal marks an important milestone for the 40,000 sqm office park.
"Gateway Office Park's traditionally strong tenant portfolio continues to expand, and we are very pleased with this agreement. Despite this unprecedentedly difficult and unique business environment, we have further strengthened our position in the North Pest submarket thanks to the deals successfully concluded in the past few months. With regards to the new agreement, we strived for an optimal office solution in all respects, and we believe that we can provide AKZO NOBEL with a long-term location tailored to their needs," says Bodahelyi.
AKZO NOBEL Coatings Zrt. CEO Gergely Szűcs comments, “An important aspect in the selection was the proximity of the office corridor of Árpád Bridge and Váci út and the flexible attitude of the lessor corresponding to the market situation. We want to create an ideal work environment for our employees, so it was an important criterion of our office search to find a reliable and strong lessor as a partner.”
